Thinking outside the box

We bottle all of our Mānuka honey in glass. While this keeps it at its best on your shelf, it did mean putting our thinking caps on when figuring out how to get it to you in one piece.

The solution is an intricate box made from strong ISO 14001, FSC Certified cardboard. It’s so strong, that there’s no need for bubblewrap or polystyrene to protect the jar inside.
Getting the unique design just right meant a lot of sketching, folding and drop testing – not to mention a few broken jars (luckily all empty). And all for one reason – to create sustainable packaging that takes extra care of your Mānuka honey until it gets to you.

Once your box has served its noble purpose, just pop it in your paper recycling, so it can be reborn as something new. If you can bear to part with it.
